Dar Sophia’s existing farm sits in the countryside of Sebt Ben Sassi, Sebt Road, Ouled Jelal, Morocco. Its focus on organic growing connects food, healthy soil and the community around it. The garden sets the pace. Planting and harvesting follow the growing cycle, with a changing mix of vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers rather than a fixed year-round selection. Composting, crop rotation and cover crops are part of the farm’s published approach to building soil. Our vision is to help visitors understand these practices through simple, practical experiences. Planned activities include garden walks, seasonal harvesting, seed sowing and introductory composting workshops. Activities will depend on weather, the season and the work happening on the farm.Good things begin in the soil.
