Share your background, goals and preferred dates so the scope can be matched to the maker’s expertise and availability. Return to the process over several days. Explore materials, develop a project and see how practice changes your understanding of a craft. Duration, schedule, materials and any firing or finishing are agreed before booking; accommodation and transport are arranged separately. Develop a programme around material research, traditional techniques or contemporary interpretation. Bring a clear brief and an open mind. Any commission, collaboration, attribution and use of designs should be agreed directly with the participating makers.
